Activity description
Join us for an unforgettable adventure into the serene mountains of Crete, with most of the journey taking place off-road along small paths, through forests, and on dirt roads. Our Quad Safari begins at our base in Istron - Kalo Chorio (near Agios Nikolaos). After ensuring you’re comfortable and confident on your quad, we set off into the mountains, taking in breathtaking views as we head toward a traditional Cretan village, far from the typical tourist routes. We’ll guide you through the village’s charming narrow streets before stopping at a cozy ‘kafenio’ for a traditional Cretan coffee break. You can choose between a classic hot Greek coffee, a refreshing cold frappe, or a soft drink, accompanied by small traditional Cretan snacks. After soaking in the village atmosphere, we’ll continue our mountain exploration, passing through another small village before reaching a hidden 13th-century monastery, accessible again by mostly off-road paths. After exploring the monastery, we’ll make our way back to the starting point, ending the safari with unforgettable memories of this quad adventure.
It´s probably the best way to explore the ‘real’ Crete – we keep our groups small to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the tour. We absolutely adore Crete, especially our area, and we want you to discover its diversity, local flavors, warm and friendly people, and stunning views. Our goal is to help you experience and enjoy all of this during your holiday.

Additional information
We use large 600cc quads that are stable and very easy to drive! A car driver’s license (B category) held for at least one year is required to drive these quads, and the minimum age is 20 years. Passengers must be over 7 years old.
Please bring your license with you and wear sturdy shoes! We recommend wearing long pants as it can get warm around your legs but shorts are also okay.
